Day 99: Mighty to Save

Standard

I thank God today for the song “Mighty to Save”.

I thank God for humbling me and reminding me that I am nothing but dust, therefore, I do not have the right to boast and be proud. I thank God for letting me know that because of my nature, my mere efforts will never be enough for my Father to accept me in heaven. I am born scarred with the curse of everyone’s first parents.

I thank God that through this song Mighty to Save, God reminded me what my great Savior did in the past, is doing at the present, and can do in the future. My Savior can move mountains. My Savior loves everyone even if some people think they don’t deserve it. My Savior is just like me – He eats, sleeps, laughs, and cries. But He is also one of a kind – He heals, walks on water, and raises people from the dead. My Savior not only moves mountains and commands the wind and the storm, my Savior did much more than that – He conquered death.

Thank You, Jesus, for loving me this much!  Thank You for dying for me and living again for me!  Thank You, Jesus!

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. – Hosea 13:14

Everyone needs compassion,
A Love that’s never failing;
Let mercy fall on me.

Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Savior;
The Hope of nations.

Chorus:
Savior, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.

Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

So take me as You find me,
All my fears and failures,
Fill my life again.

I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in,
Now I surrender.
Yes, I surrender

Repeat Chorus 2x

Bridge:
Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We’re singing for the glory of the risen King…Jesus (x2)

Repeat Chorus 2x
Repeat Bridge 6x
